In her brief flashback appearance, she displays remarkable courage, desperation, and a love so fierce it transforms her into a killer. This is the birth of the future Mafia Queen. *****The role requires physicality (shoving, swinging a prop bottle) and the ability to convey terror, rage, and love—sometimes simultaneously. Must be comfortable with mild staged violence (pushing, falling). This role involves portrayals of domestic violence, child endangerment, parental death, and a child committing an act of violence (striking an adult with a bottle to protect her sister). The character witnesses and experiences: Her mother being physically assaulted and killed, She herself commits a violent act (staged). The Attack: Child Irina shoves her father (adult male actor), then picks up a prop bottle (breakaway glass or soft prop) and brings it down on his head. He collapses. This is simulated violence performed under strict choreography.*****PARENT IS ALLOWED ON SET. A STUDIO TEACHER WILL PRESENT ON SET. A professional stunt coordinator will be present for the violent scenes. The actor will not be placed in any real danger, but the emotional and physical intensity is high.
