Synopsis:

An intimate, narrative-driven music video for a new original song by recording artist Willie Wisely. Subtle storytelling, minimal dialogue, and emotional presence are key. Closing time. Christmas Eve. Two strangers notice one another across the bar. Fatefully, they are abandoned by rowdy friends and are forced to share a cab ride "home" on a frigid night. The first kiss is magic until reality interrupts. But then, in an homage to the final bus scene of The Graduate, we are left unsure of exactly what reality will be.

Project Notes

Rate: $300 per actor. Casting for two actors, male and female. Real-life couples are encouraged to submit, but individual actors will be equally considered. Two fully-clothed kissing scenes are central to the plot, for which actors will be in winter coats seated in the back seat of a taxi. No intimate bodily touching. Location: Cathedral Hill neighborhood, St. Paul, MN (limited exterior night shooting) and Dellwood, MN (interior residence scenes). Date and Time: St. Paul shoot in late February. Other shooting mid-March or April. Approximately 15–20 hours on set total, across one evening and one or two days. About 10% of the shoot will take place outdoors after dark.
