THE DEAL – Synopsis In the gritty underbelly of Brooklyn, three broke young women are desperate for a way out. Amelia, a sharp and seductive hustler hiding her fear behind confidence, scams wealthy men to keep a roof over their heads—and to secretly help her ailing father. Emily, a hot-headed aspiring rapper, just lost her dead-end job and struggles with a toxic relationship with her mother. Olivia, the group’s self-proclaimed financial genius, is obsessed with crypto and convinced one big investment will change their lives forever. When a promising cryptocurrency opportunity appears, the trio sees their ticket out of poverty. With the help of their street-connected friend Denzel, they secure a $25,000 loan from a ruthless drug dealer named Hector—agreeing to pay back $30,000 in a month. But their dream collapses overnight when the coin turns out to be a pump-and-dump scam, wiping out everything. Facing certain death if they can’t repay the debt, Amelia makes a bold move: instead of running, they offer to work for Hector as drug runners. Thrust into a violent world of compromised deals, police raids, and gunfire, the girls quickly realize they’re being used as expendable pawns. When Hector sets them up on dangerous deliveries and barely pays them, Amelia recognizes a hard truth—they will never get free working under him. So she pitches an audacious plan: rob Hector, steal his supply, and exploit the fact that he answers to someone even more powerful. If they play it right, Hector will be too busy facing his own consequences to come after them. What began as a quick-money scheme spirals into a dangerous power play where loyalty is tested, bullets fly, and survival demands transformation. The Deal is a gritty urban crime thriller about ambition, desperation, and the cost of chasing freedom in a world built to keep you trapped.
