Day Player/Supporting. Pays $150/D. In her 20s and the primary kidnapper in the opening scene, depicted as a sexy woman in a pencil skirt holding a contract and a bloody whip. She is ruthless and sadistic, torturing Dmitri in an abandoned warehouse to force him to sign over his shares, and coldly dismissing his life as less valuable than money. Her most violent action is lashing Dmitri with a whip and revving a chainsaw with the clear intent to sever his hand. She has no intimate scenes, but her physical presentation is coded as seductive and threatening. Her only stunt is firing a gun at Irina, which Irina dodges by tilting her head, after which Irina presses a pistol to Miranda's forehead and executes her with the line, "Tell the Devil Irina sent you." Miranda dies within the first three pages of the script, serving as an immediate and brutal establishment of Irina's power, precision, and lethal authority.
