Kenzie Goodman
Fighting For Freedom
About the Job
18+ to play 17. Talent must be comfortable with fight choreography. Kenzie is confident, sharp-tongued, and unapologetically commanding, a young woman who moves through the world expecting people to follow her lead. Beneath her polished, popular-girl exterior and designer wardrobe lies someone deeply affected by her mother's abandonment, though she deflects that pain with humor, deflection, and an insistence on independence. She is fiercely protective of the people she lets in, surprisingly compassionate once her walls come down, and resourceful under pressure, whether she's talking her way out of a close call with her father or taking down her ex-boyfriend using a move she just learned. Kenzie struggles with vulnerability and has a habit of reframing emotional moments as transactional ones, but over the course of the story she learns to trust, to fight for herself, and to admit what she truly feels. *While no nudity is required, talent must be comfortable with intimacy (passionate kissing, caressing and implied sex). There is also a scene in which Dylan attempts to non-consensually grab and kiss Kenzie. There will be an on-set intimacy coordinator present for all levels of intimacy. Additionally, action work will be required. Kenzie takes Clay down on the sidewalk and Dylan down in the hallway with her practiced move. A stunt coordinator will be present for all action work.
