Iregret
Erik, an oral surgeon and cancer researcher, grapples with the aftermath of his breakup with Natalie, his girlfriend of over a year. He's haunted by the "what ifs" and regrets his decision not to commit, especially when Natalie quickly moves on and gets engaged to someone else. Erik's emotional turmoil affects his work and relationships, leading him down a destructive path of self-pity and despair. Despite attempts to distract himself with casual dating and his research, Erik can't escape the memory of Natalie. He desperately tries to win her back, even after she's engaged, but his efforts are in vain. He's forced to confront the consequences of his past actions and the reality that he's lost Natalie for good. Through encounters with friends, family, and even strangers, Erik is exposed to different perspectives on life, love, and loss. He witnesses the resilience of others facing their own challenges, such as his cancer-stricken cousin and a young widow. These experiences gradually open his eyes to the importance of living in the present, appreciating the memories of the past, and embracing the uncertainty of the future.
