Logline: During a routine therapy session, a woman tries to understand why her husband took his own life—unaware that for an entire year her therapist has been using prescribed medication to manipulate her into killing him as revenge for an old betrayal. Synopsis: A month after her husband’s suicide, a woman arrives for another session with the therapist she has been seeing for a year. She tries to make sense of what happened, remembering her husband — a caring, kind, yet withdrawn former secret operative haunted by nightmares and lingering PTSD. As the conversation unfolds, her memories blend with fragmented flashes: episodes of anxiety, moments of dissociation, gaps in memory — all the things she believed she was treating with the medication prescribed by her therapist. In parallel, the audience sees what the woman doesn’t: her husband’s past during a failed operation, where he abandoned his wounded partner. Another thread reveals the therapists own flashbacks, showing that he is the very partner who was captured, tortured, and left for dead. For a year, the therapist hid his identity, built the persona of a “doctor,” and used carefully selected medication to implant the thoughts he needed. In the final montage, it is revealed that the wife — in a subdued, trance-like state — convinced her husband to open the window and pushed him out, repeating his old callsign: “I’m Thirteenth. Covering you.” The session ends. The woman leaves, still unaware of the truth. The therapist remains alone, gathers his things, wipes the place clean, and disappears. The story shows how revenge was carried out by someone else’s hands, while the real killer remained in the shadows.
