Paid work in a UCLA student film. Thermostat is a fixed frame 60 second short about how quickly conflict can arise without even interacting, and how quickly it can resolve. It is a fixed single silent shot (no cuts, no camera moves, no sound), challenging performers to express the role entirely through movement, blocking, and face work. A UCLA student short film from a director with long creative experience in the game industry. Performers should be able to travel to Costa Mesa, be available for an evening shoot on 1/18/26, and provide simple wardrobe that fits them well (t-shirt, shorts).
