BOREDOM Story: A young man is hired as a Security Guard to watch a building that is empty and on the verge of renovation. The location was at once plagued by taggers and vandalism. For one month, we watch Micah as he sits at his job in boredom. Idea Behind the Atmosphere: I wanted to create a piece where we could feel the character as he sits through loneliness and boredom through silence. Micah is an Injured, college basketball phenom. It's summer and he was taken out of the game prior to March Madness. As a result, his life slowed down considerably. However he couldn't prepare for the kind of slowness his life would take at this isolated job away from everyone. A job where he has to exude minimal energy. I want to show how this affects a person who al of his young life was active Switch: The Movie Switches gears when one night, a young 17 year old female escapes a sex trafficking situation. She ends up a the building in which Micah is working followed by the traffickers. From this point, Micah and the girl play a game of chase with the perps trying to find and kill him and capture the escapee. Micah gains that energy he so longs for but at what cost? I feel I have been blessed with constant vision, unlimited story telling and a hunger to illuminate a future acting superstar. I am creating numerous projects this year hoping to find an actor connection. Someone humble with a good work ethic.
