Casting for a character-driven mystery project filmed entirely in New York City, "The Long Night." This is a silent short film, the story is told through movement, eye contact, and physical acting. If looking to build your reel with something atmospheric, cinematic, and visually strong, this project is designed for you. Casting eight main characters: The core group surviving in a frozen, dangerous world. These characters carry the emotional weight of the story and wear the full clothing collection tied to the film. Supporting characters; unstable/violent figures (“Psychos”); limited-scene characters with strong visual presence; background atmosphere roles that enhance tension. No experience required. The project is movement-focused, not dialogue-based. Attached is file that includes: Story introduction; World overview; Character breakdowns; Visual tone and What each role represents. Format is a silent short film, focused on expression and movement. Style is mystery, survival and atmospheric.
