When overwhelmed twenty-something Stevie’s body begins turning into clay, she must fight to mould herself back into her original form. Mould is a dramatic short film with body horror elements that addresses an issue that many people are becoming more accustomed to: Isolation and disconnection from the world. This out-of-body stress response will be shown visually using clay practical effects and a stop-motion component. This film aims to share the isolating feeling of depersonalization, as visualizing a feeling can often help us better understand and empathize with those who experience it.
