I Had Tea With A Time Traveler
Logline: A fugitive time traveler dodges his pursuers by assisting a beleaguered editor, together searching the past for a perspective that could change everything. Synopsis: Bellamy Nib, a book editor coping with the loss of his son, hopes to forward their shared love of literature in what he publishes. Discouraged by the lack of appropriate options, and facing pressure to sell gratuitous and sensational stories or lose his job, he’s on the brink of despair. At the most opportune of moments, a time traveler on the run from the law hides in the editor’s office and takes pity on him. Using his time-warping abilities, they interview famous writers of the past for wisdom and inspiration, over a friendly cup of tea. However, with the lawman getting closer and Bellamy's deadline encroaching, their time is running out. At the last moment, Bellamy finds the motivation he’s been seeking, and as he leaves the publishing house to write his own books, the time traveler narrowly escapes the lawman.
