The Silence We Flee
The Silence We Flee follows Naomi, a young African woman seeking asylum in the United States while haunted by the violence she escaped. As she navigates an unforgiving system and an unfamiliar country, pressure builds from all sides—externally through bureaucracy and fear, and internally through memory and guilt. The closer Naomi gets to safety, the more dangerous truth becomes. In a world where silence once meant survival, she must confront what it now demands of her.
