A luxury hotel concierge who is discreet, highly competent, and quietly wired into the city’s shadow economy. He knows guests by name and reputation and treats them like a valued “VIP,” but there’s a business arrangement underneath the hospitality: he helps “set the table” by steering high-value guests into proximity and keeping the environment clean, calm, and controllable. He’s not a thug and not comic relief. He’s polished, professional, and unflappable, with the calm authority of someone who controls access for a living. Subtext is everything.
