This is a non-speaking role (but it's possible to use your voice for the voiceover dialogue). The performance is driven entirely by behavior, presence, and physical storytelling. The role offers a strong opportunity to showcase dramatic ability through subtle expression and body language, and is intended to provide compelling reel material. Emari is quiet, observant, and emotionally guarded - a teenager who has learned to move through the world without asking for much. He’s intelligent and talented, but doesn’t announce it; years of navigating invisible limitations have taught him to keep his expectations realistic. There’s a sensitivity beneath his restraint, and a flicker of hope he’s careful not to expose too openly. This role requires an actor who can do a lot with very little - subtle reactions, internal processing, and emotional restraint are key. Emari doesn’t deliver speeches; his power is in what he withholds. **Piano / Musical ability is a plus but not required.
