Non-speaking role. The film will be musically scored and with voiceover from the student, Emari. Need someone with strong emotional range. Anna is a young teacher who genuinely believes that wanting better for someone can help make it possible. She’s enthusiastic, earnest, and deeply well-intentioned - the kind of person who shows up early, stays late, and still believes that doing the right thing matters. She hasn’t yet learned all the ways the system quietly limits what’s possible, and that naiveté fuels both her optimism and her blind spots. Anna isn’t trying to fix anyone or save anyone; she simply sees potential and feels compelled to act on it. Her warmth is real, her hope is contagious, and her missteps come not from ego, but from belief. The role calls for an actor who can play sincerity without irony, and who can allow disappointment to register subtly when good intentions collide with reality.
