About the Job
Maria is a former Catholic nun who became a knight from the Knights of Malta, the Hospitalers. She gave up her habit and became a world religion scholar, as well as a general physician. She is naturally curious about our place among the cosmos, and brings rational but philosophical thought to everything she does. While she’s a tiny woman who grew up in a Catholic orphanage in Ecuador, she is regarded as wise and a natural leader.
