About the Job
Isaiah is the self-appointed leader and frontman of HEATWAVE, a rising Miami boy band built as much on image as on talent. Charismatic, confident, and undeniably attractive, Isaiah sees himself as the face of the group — and expects everyone else to fall in line behind him. Much of HEATWAVE’s equipment, studio time, and early opportunities have been funded by Isaiah’s family, a fact he quietly (and sometimes openly) uses to maintain control. This financial leverage gives him power over the group, and he isn’t afraid to remind them who keeps the lights on. Isaiah is a ladies’ man and attention-seeker, relying heavily on his looks and charm. He believes being the “pretty one” is just as important as being talented, and he’s obsessed with staying in the spotlight. When that spotlight shifts away from him, his behavior becomes dismissive, manipulative, and emotionally cutting. Within HEATWAVE, Isaiah can be verbally harsh and emotionally abusive, especially toward members he views as weaker or less essential. He doesn’t see the band as a team — he sees it as a vehicle for his own success. Must be able to dance • Must be able to sing • Must be comfortable with acting
