About the Job

We are looking for grandparents who are confident on camera and have big, warm personalities. They do not need acting experience, but they must be relaxed speaking to camera and comfortable being filmed in their home kitchen or living space. Cultural backgrounds of interest We’d like a diverse range of cultures represented in our grandparents, with the ability to tie to cultural occasions that are relevant to them (and to lamb). Think like: Greek Pappou Italian Nonna Lebanese Teta Indian Nani Chinese Nai Nai Key Attributes Warm, engaging presence and natural humour Genuine comfort being filmed in their home Strong connection to their cultural food traditions Ability to speak about cooking lamb in their own words Open to appearing with their grandchild if relevant Open to cooking, sharing stories and reacting to other people’s cooking
