About the Job

4. REAL FAMILY - son+daughter+mom+dad OR any 2 or 3 of group • OUR HERO BOY, BEN - 6yrs old or older if small (please do not submit anyone younger than 6 years old or anyone older than 6 years old who could not pass for a 6 year old). We’re hoping to explore a range of personalities and unique traits or quirks that will make our hero kid stand out from the crowd while still being relatable. For the role of our lead character, Ben, we’re looking for a Caucasian boy who appears about 6-years-old but is ideally a bit older, so he can hit certain emotional beats and reactions. Natural, curious and joyful, he isn’t precocious or entitled. He truly believes in the magic of the holidays and can’t help but get swept up in the possibilities of his wish list. Perhaps a bit dorky in his genuine enthusiasm, there’s an effortless charm to Ben’s authenticity. You feel his wholehearted belief in what he says—and you can’t help but root for him. • THE SISTER, MAISY - Supporting our lead boy will be his older sister, Maisy, a Caucasian girl between 11 and 14. Like our hero, she’s not a caricature of a tween. She’s dimensional and natural, with a good measure of sweetness and vulnerability to balance out the sass. As our spot opens, she’s observably nonplussed about her little brother’s impromptu speech. But as the film progresses, her “too cool” veneer begins to crack and is eventually replaced by genuine excitement. By the end, she’s not judging her brother—she’s right alongside him, living the dream together. • THE PARENTS - Our hero’s parents will be a couple in their early 40s (also open to individual "dad" or "mom" submissions). They should feel natural and connected, exchanging little knowing glances as our hero kid gets lost in his imaginings. At their core, they’re responsible, caring adults but they’re no cookie-cutter parents. There’s some quirk, some imperfection and playfulness that emerge as they experience the Resort and Park with their children. By the
