Female, 58-80 to play late-60s to 70s, appears White (European Descent), American. Fearless and strong, she is raising her adored granddaughter Charlie while also secretly working with the Resistance to hide books from the totalitarian regime in the future . The government Grandma is fighting has eliminated all libraries and banned all books, which Grandma sees as a mad descent into ignorance.
