About the Job
Rhode is intense and volatile. A struggling art photographer who lashes out when he feels most vulnerable. Beneath the chaos is a deeply sensitive soul, desperate to change but unable to escape his own demons. This is a demanding, emotionally raw role that requires vulnerability, range, and a willingness to go to uncomfortable places. He should still be likable though, someone we are rooting for and not someone we want to punch in the face. We need an up-and-coming actor who is great at conveying emotion with just their eyes and vibe. The second half of the film there isn't much dialogue but a lot is going on, it's all about what's not being said. As you can see this is a real actor's role they can really sink their teeth into.
