About the Job

Character portrayed is Male, Latinx, 9-11 years old. Slight but tough, fiery temper to compensate. Observant, with a deep, soulful gaze. He tries to mask his fiery nature behind a cool, nonchalant exterior. Memo's dialogue is primarily in English but he will have some brief lines in Spanish when speaking with Chela, so some KNOWLEDGE OF SPEAKING SPANISH is preferred. Memo and his cousins will play a brief game of backyard football, culminating in a brief, light altercation between Memo and Thomas. There will be a choreographer on set. ATHLETIC ABILITY A PLUS. Role for minor: this project contains occasional strong language (curse words "b*tch" "don't be a b*tch") spoken by the minor actors. A parent/guardian is allowed within sight and sound of the minor at all times while working. A studio teacher will be provided on set. This production is in compliance with all State Child Entertainment Laws.
