Female, Late 40s- Early 50s, white, Los Angeles Local Hire. Max’s well-meaning mother. She cooks the meals, cleans the house, makes sure “Maxie” eats his dinner and all with a smile on her face. She’s slightly more sensitive towards her son’s feelings than her husband. She explains that while the boys learn how to control their aggression, the girls have a protection course to learn how to defend themselves “when you come at us with steak knife”. Concerned about her son’s development and the potential for obsessive thoughts, which she cautions him to tell her about if they occur.
