The Budding Bowler 12-14years old and bursting with confidence, Dev lives and breathes cricket. It’s all he talks about, all he thinks about, all he watches. Pat Cummins is his hero, and he has studied every frame of Cummins’ run-up until he can copy it perfectly. If only he brought that same focus to his chores at home. His mum, today’s umpire, lifts an eyebrow at his over-the-top “How’s that!”, already knowing the dishes will still be waiting for him after the game.
