GRAHAM (14 years old, freshman, Vietnamese-American, LEAD)
- Graham is a snarky, know-it-all, too-cool-for-school kid. He’s indifferent about going on outdoor ed, mostly because he knows there’s no way to get out of it. Out of all of the students, he’s probably the most mature and grounded in reality. This is partially because both of his parents are working-class and are hardly ever around, causing him to practically raise himself. It feels like he’s been here before. We find out later in the season that he’s struggling with a substance abuse problem. He’s also openly gay.
