Character is a male in his early-mid 20s. Des is a sweet and passionate bassist in the alt-rock band Sindication whose smile lights up a room. Beneath his innocent exterior, Des struggles with addiction fueled by a tragic past. He’s the type of guy you hate to see hurt, yet never catches a break for long. Like when he meets Casey, his “soulmate” whose presence wears away the light in Des’ soul and brings out the worst in him.
