Yalitza is a working-class immigrant and a single woman with two jobs. She is visibly exhausted but carries herself with quiet strength and compassion. Despite her struggles, she glows with resilience. Her interactions with Norm show her as both vulnerable and nurturing — a figure grounded in reality yet capable of evoking hope and tenderness.
