About the Job

World-weary and intolerant of fools, Mama Ranford is a shrewd and no-nonsense woman who will do whatever it takes to protect her peace. She’s a widow whose son - against her best wishes - became a cowboy to live the grand exciting life of an outlaw. While she did not like her son, she definitely loved him, and for her that means fulfilling her duty as a mother to get revenge for his death. She presents herself as blunt and impatient, but every action she takes is carefully considered to bring her closer to her goals.
