About the Job
Looking for babies/toddler 8 to 18months old for a commercial for an organic baby food pouch puree brand. (Open to slightly older children who read younger.)
Requirements:
Children must have a valid NYS child performer work permit, a trust account, and a guardian on set
Ideally has prior commercial or on-camera experience
Comfortable in studio environments and around food
No food allergies — must be able to eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, and meats (products contain organic veggies, pasture-raised meats, and no added sugar)
Open to all ethnicities
Expressive facial features and engaging eyes
Abilities Needed:
Can sit confidently in a high chair
Able to gesture with hands (e.g., point, grab a pouch)
Comfortable looking directly into camera
Can hold and self-feed from a baby food pouch (with adult supervision on set)
Self-tape instructions for Babies/Toddlers:
Introduction (Parent Speaking On-Camera or Off-Camera):
Baby’s name, age, height, and clothing size
Confirm: Baby has a valid NYS permit, trust account, and no food allergies
Confirm comfort with eating meat, veggies, and fruits
Actions to Capture:
Personality:
Baby sitting confidently in a high chair or upright seat
Try to capture smiles, expressive eyes, or laughs (a toy or parent interaction off-camera is fine)
Baby looking toward the camera (encourage them to look directly at you or your phone)
Movement/Interaction:
Baby reaching or grabbing for a toy or pouch (you may hand them something off-camera)
If possible: baby self-feeding from a pouch or chewing a soft snack
(Optional) If Walking:
For toddlers: film a few steps to show their walking ability
