Late 20’s - early 30’s, Black man, Teaching assistant
Mr. Roberts IS a superhero, but doesn't know it yet. Although he’s drowning in debt and has lost his faith, he always exhibits components of care, even with his most difficult students. Mr. Roberts loves teaching but his spirits are crushed under the weight of mounting debt.
He’s a comic book enthusiast and self proclaimed geek and well liked by students. He wears hoodies, t-shirts, khakis and Nikes or Jordans. Although he's laid back, will debate about DC and the MCU and shoot hoops with his students, he’s stern when he needs to be because he genuinely cares about them. LEAD
