About the Job

Every actor in this one-act play will play two (2) roles. Most roles are of either an incarcerated individual or of a detention officer. This character should appear in her mid-thirties. The first role is of the FEMALE OFFICER. She works within the prison system with the criminally insane. She is NOT the least sympathetic to the needs of these individuals. She is quite tough. The second role is ANGEL #1, who appears at the end of the play and takes an elderly prisoner to heaven.
