About the Job
The Shop Owner has owned and worked at the same corner shop for decades - the shop his father owned before him, and his grandfather before that. He veers erratically between being friendly, disinterested, grumpy and fearful. In physical appearance, he is out-of-condition and a little on the pudgy side, but still he takes pride in his appearance and is a fastidious, if not altogether snappy, dresser. Fundamentally, he is just a dude caught in the crosshairs of of an increasingly insane reality, trying to make a living!
