Are you an experienced actor ready to bring authentic characters to life? The Experience Lab seeks talented roleplayers of all ages for university and hospital training in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, and Physiotherapy.
Join us in shaping the future of healthcare professionals while you hone your improvisational skills, versatility, and emotional range. The Experience Lab continually strives to cast actors who represent our First Nations’ people; increasing cultural competency by exposing medical students and employees to real examples of diverse cultural perspectives and practices.
You'll play a key part in developing the ability of our existing and future healthcare professionals to provide respectful and effective care. Past roles include:
• Parent of a sick child
• Patient from a remote area needing urgent treatment
• Person resisting emergency care
Interactions are non-invasive and predominantly “hands off”.
There are ongoing opportunities for our roleplayers to work within other services delivered by The Experience Lab including our corporate theatre programs and skill building workshops.
