About the Job
American Idol is looking for current choir directors (church, school, university, or community) to help us create a major choir moment on the show this season.
We want to meet directors who lead choirs with powerhouse singers. Specifically, we are looking for choirs with a standout soloist (age 15–27) who has the kind of big, emotional, Idol-ready voice strong enough to compete for the Top 10. The choir (any age) will back the soloist on stage for an unforgettable televised performance.
What We Need:
* Current choir directors who can introduce us to their strongest soloist.
* A soloist, age 15–27, with star power and the kind of voice that could carry them to the Top 10 on American Idol.
* Choir members of any age who can join the soloist for the big TV moment.
This is about highlighting the soloist in your choir with the support of your choir behind them.
