Casting Guild of Australia Unveils 2023 CGA Awards Winners
The Casting Guild of Australia (CGA) has announced the winners for the 2023 installment of its annual CGA Awards, which celebrate and recognise casting across all mediums including film, television, advertising, theatre and online content.
The event, sponsored by Casting Networks®, was held on November 24 in Sydney. The ceremony also highlighted the 2023 CGA Rising Stars, which included Ben Turland, Bernie van Tiel, Carlos Sanson Jr, Costa D’Angelo, Emma Harvie, Kartanya Maynard, Natalie Abbott, Nathalie Morris, Perry Mooney, Raj Labade, William Lodder and William McKenna.
“This year has seen a remarkable tapestry of productions, shining a spotlight on both emerging talents and Casting Guild of Australia Awards seasoned actors,” said CGA president Thea McLeod when nominees were announced earlier this month. “Every nominee and participant should take immense pride in the diverse array of productions they’ve contributed to as we continue to shape and elevate the entertainment landscape together.”
