Casting Guild of Australia Celebrates 10th Annual CGA Awards
The Casting Guild of Australia celebrated its 10th annual CGA Awards on Friday, November 15 at the Establishment Hotel in Sydney, hosted by Connor and Christiaan Van Vurren with special guest producer Sally Riley.
The event, sponsored by Casting Networks®, is the only ceremony that recognizes and honors the top casting directors in the southern hemisphere across all mediums, including film, television, advertising, theatre and online content.
The CGA also named its 2024 top 10 emerging talent at the celebration, praising the following actors for their work:
- Alyla Browne (Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart)
- Courtney Monsma (Wicked the Musical Australia, Paper Dolls)
- Danny Ball (Loaded, Totally Completely Fine)
- Felix Cameron (Boy Swallows Universe, Penguin Bloom)
- Grace Chow (Mystery Road: Origin, The Twelve)
- Janet Anderson (Last King of the Cross, Collapsible)
- Lee Tiger Halley (Boy Swallows Universe, Crazy Fun Park)
- Megan Wilding (Gold Diggers, We Are Still Here)
- Michael Logo (Colin From Accounts, In Limbo)
- Michael Theo (Love on the Spectrum, Austin)
