About the Job

Lead / Antagonist. A star quarterback. Charismatic but emotionally stunted. Evan is not “evil” — but he’s weak and very gullible. He lives in fear of failure and of his family even though they have no control over his life. He constantly makes the wrong choice but for the right reasons. He thinks he’s doing what’s best but is misguided in his actions. He genuinely believes he loves Beth, but his cowardice destroys their marriage. His tragedy is realizing the value of what he lost after it’s too late. Actors with football experience are preferred but not required. Need someone who can play: Charming on the outside, emotionally immature at the core.
